Paediatric Occupational Therapist Position

Home On A Hill is an integrative child and family therapy service that specialises in child development and counselling within a family centred framework. We are passionate about working with the child in the context of their family and wider community to achieve best outcomes. Job description

  • Full or part time permanent role
  • Open to both experienced clinicians and new graduates
  • Custom caseload- we can adapt the caseload to suit your interests and career goals

Join a passionate team who enjoy working with their clients and being involved in our community! We have provided a ‘Sensory Garden Playdate’ event,  sensory and play activities for a ‘Teddy Bear Community Picnic’ and have been involved in fundraising events such as 'Walk off the War Within'. 


As a Paediatric Occupational Therapist, you will develop and implement individualised and family centred therapy programs for children who require support with promoting play, motor skills, social skills, emotional regulation and sensory processing. This includes functional capacity assessments, observational assessments for NDIS application and screening assessments for Autism. Working with children aged from 0 to 12 years who have developmental delay,  Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, sensory processing or behavioural difficulties, disabilities or trauma history. 

Working with both private and NDIS funded clients, therapy is provided at Home On A Hill, kindergarten, home or school environment. We are flexible to meet the needs of our clients. 


Job requirements

  • Bachelor of Occupational Therapy or equivalent
  • Current registration with AHPRA
  • 1-year paediatric experience preferred however, open to new graduates 
  • Current driving licence with own car
  • Current Police and Working with Children check
  • Ability to register for Medicare and a Working With Children Check Card
